I’ll admit—startups are sexy in a way most other vehicles aren’t. Startups have “30 Under 30” lists in Forbes Magazine, but notable small business CEOs are often relegated to the magazine in an airplane seat pocket. Conferences and networking events take place at upscale hotels, whereas you might find the “Widget Merchants Association” trade show across the street at a mall. In some ways, it’s certainly a lot more fun and appealing to be a startup founder.
